The multiplier events on the natural and man-made disasters that took place at the Museum of Natural History of Crete-University of Crete (MFIK-PK), October 21 & 22 2020, within the framework of the NHDPlay program, were successfully completed. This European program which was funded by ERASMUS +, is coordinated by the Center for Educational Initiatives of Bulgaria https://cei-bg.org/ while for Greece the coordinating institution is NHMC-UOC. The interactive educational material which has been developed on the project platform https://www.nhd-play.eu/ concerns natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, fires) but also man-made disasters (Traffic Code and car accidents as well as First Aid). All the participants, volunteers from the group "Filios ZEUS" of Archanes as well as the teachers and students of the 14th Elementary School of Heraklion, showed special interest for the topics especially after the last earthquakes and the intense floods in Crete.

In the events, all the protection measures imposed by the legislation on the Museums due to Covid-19 were followed with particular strictness: Masks, very small groups scattered in many rooms of the Museum, distances, hand hygiene, etc.
