I am an expert in field studies of land ecosystems, I study the ecology and the distribution of mammals and especially rodents (Rodentia) and shrews (Eylipotyphla). I have a degree in Forestry with post-graduate studies in environmental biology.

Since 2012 I am a member of the Laboratory of Vertebrates at the Museum of Natural History of Crete. I am responsible for the organization and the enrichment of owl pellets as well as education in the subject of analysis of owl pellets. I am involved in sampling of mammals especially via trapping, collection of pellets, detection of field signs and the use of camera-traps.

I have solid expertise in the use of geographic information systems and the analysis of data regarding distribution and ecology of land mammals.
