Aikaterini Voreadi, Dr Hydrobiologist of the University of Crete, is the Head of the Laboratory of Hydrobiology at the Natural History Museum of Crete – University of Crete (NHMC-UoC) which deals with the ecological quality of the freshwater ecosystems of Crete in accordance with the Water Framework Directive 60/2000.
Since 1998 she has been also the Head of Education at the NHMC-UoC and since 2012 the Head of the Environmental Training Center (KEPEKA) of the NHMC-UoC which belongs to the Lifelong Learning Center of the University of Crete (KEDIVIM).
She is a member of the National Certification Center for Continuing Professional Training (EKEPIS -EA 17430) as an adult trainer.
As a scientific coordinator or as a partner, she has participated in over of 20 research projects funded by National and European funding resources.
