Σύντομο Βιογραφικό

Η Αγγελική Δόξα είναι Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια του τμήματος Βιολογίας Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης και συνεργαζόμενο μέλος ΔΕΠ του ΙΥΜ-ΙΤΕ. Είναι πτυχιούχος του Τμήματος Περιβάλλοντος, Πανεπιστημίου Αιγαίου (Μυτιλήνη, 2004) και κατέχει MSc στον τομέα της Οικολογίας, Βιοποικιλότητας και Εξέλιξης από το Πανεπιστήμιο Sorbonne Université (Paris, 2005). Είναι Διδάκτωρ (PhD) Οικολογίας του Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle (Paris, 2009).

Έχει εργαστεί ως μεταδιδακτορική ερευνήτρια σε ελληνικά και γαλλικά Πανεπιστήμια και Ερευνητικά Κέντρα, όπως τα Πανεπιστήμια Pierre et Marie Curie-Sorbonne Université, Centre d’Ecologie Fonctionelle et Evolutive, Institut des Sciences de l’Evolution – Université de Montpellier, Aix-Marseille Université, Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και Ίδρυμα Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας.

Τα κύρια ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζουν στον τομέα του συστηματικού σχεδιασμού δικτύων προστατευόμενων περιοχών, υπό το πρίσμα της κλιματικής αλλαγής και ανθρώπινων πιέσεων. Ασχολείται με την ανάπτυξη τεχνικών οικολογικής παρακολούθησης και μοντελοποίησης, την ανάλυση της κλιματικής και τοπογραφικής ετερογένειας και την εκτίμηση των επιπτώσεων της κλιματικής αλλαγής στο χώρο και το χρόνο σε χερσαία και θαλάσσια οικοσυστήματα, με έμφαση στην Μεσογειακή Ευρώπη.
