Photo of Tassel Hyacinth, Muscari comosum, in its natural environment. It is one of the most common muscari species of Greece, and is found in sometimes large populations in cultivated and fallow fields from sea level to about 1000 metres. The bulbs are harvested, boiled in brine and eaten. It flowers from March until May.
