Photo of a Blunt-nosed Viper, Macrovipera lebetina, a big viper, up to 180 cm long, deadly venomous. It lives in all ecosystems of Cyprus, from the sea level to the high mountains. It feeds on a variety of small vertebrates. It is a relative species to the Viper of the Milos island, Greece.
