Photo of a sample of geoid Quartz, bought in Tunisia. Outside, the geoid seems like a moderate-sized stone, whereas the internal cavity is covered with quartz crystals. It has vitreous shine and the color is gold-red to red. It poses hardness 7 in Mohs scale.
