Photo of the dorsal side of the Spider Uroctea durandi (Urocteidae), a spider of about 15mm, dark with five yellow spots on the dorsal side of its back. Its ventral part is all dark brown. It may be found under stones, hidden inside a tent-like silken web. The protruding edges of this web inform the spider about the approaching of an insect or a millipede to which she reacts immediately.
