Photo of a Cory's (Scopoli's) Shearwater, Calonectris diomedea, a fish-eating sea species that spends most of the time flying close to the surface of the water. It breeds in remote rocky islands over the Mediterranean, and migrates to the south Atlantic in the autumn.
