Photo of the flowers of the Pyramidal orchid, Anacamptis pyramidalis, on Gkiona mt, Greece. It is a widely distributed orchid growing among phrygana. Its leaves come in a base rosette and when it flowers (April-May) they are gone. It has a pyramid –like inflorescence and Its flowers are pink or white.
