Photo of a sample of Azurite with Malachite. Bought at Lavrio in 1998. Both are copper minerals. Azurite has deep blue color and malachite green. The crystals are not uniform. Both have a vitreous luster and hardness 3,5-4. They are used for decorative purposes and in jewelery.
