Photo of flower's detail of the Goat-Like Himantoglossum, Himantoglossum caprinum, at Olympus mt in Greece. Impressively robust plant, sometimes 1m high, growing mainly in the Balkans. Frequent in north Greece mountains. It flowers in June-August. Its very long median lobe looks like a strap, or snake's tongue.
