Photo of Doerfler's Tulip, Tulipa doerfleri. It is one of the four species of wild tulip, that grow in the island of Crete, Greece. It is an endemic species of Crete and in the 2009 "Red Data Book of Rare and Threatened Plants of Greece" it is listed as Vulnerable (VU).
