Photo of the scorpion Androctonus australis, which is one of the most dangerous scorpions in the world. Its venom is equivalent to the venom of a black mamba snake. It is a medium sized scorpion which can grow up to 10 cm in total length. It has a very thick and powerful tail. It lives in North African deserts.
