Photo of Yellow Kidney Vetch, Anthyllis hermanniae. It is a short perennial dense shrub, that grows in various habitats, from pinewoods and maquis, to cliffs and seashores. Its small leaves have a pubescent lower surface, so they reduce water loss. Its yellow flowers appear in April, May forming loose racemes.
