Phrygana diorama

Photo of the Black widow, Latrodectus tredecimguttatus, at her nest. Black widows construct their irregular, dense web near rocky microhabitats. However, in more temperate areas they may be found inside houses. They feed mainly on beetles, consuming their internal juices and leaving the exosceleton intact, like at the right bottom corner of the photo.
