Photo of the Little Owl, Athene noctua, a common Owl species in Greece. It is brown-grey on the upper part of its body and has many white spots, especially on its flat head. It flies with small, light and undulating movements. Usually it can be observed perching on wires, electric poles, ring fences and roofs. Ιt feeds on rodents, insects and passerines. It lays 3-6 eggs in the beginning of April, which incubates for around a month.
