Photo of Cretan Alyssoides, Lutzia cretica, in its natural environment. It is a small woody perennial plant, with many stems at the base and many rosettes of leaves, grey or white and yellow flowers. It flowers on February- April and grows on calcareous cliffs. It is an endemic species of South Aegean sea, Greece.
