Research Interests

My research interests focus on the biology, distribution, systematics and conservation of wildlife in Greece and Cyprus. I have worked on the protection of the Bearded Vulture (Gypaetus barbatus) and Eleonora’s Falcon (Falco eleonorae) and the research and protection of all bat species in Greece and Cyprus, with emphasis on the ecology of Pipistrellus hanaki and the roosting and foraging ecology of all species.
